I hereby mourn,
the night of broken glass,
turning xenophobic words into song,
this crime be its last.

Grasped in hand,
my beaded rosary,
I try to focus,
this silent entreaty,
if there is God,
then why misery ?
smashed windows,

deaths & looting,
defaced sacred Germany.

Smoke ascends hallowed buildings,
Mezuzots thrown in garbage bins,
all this avenges Vom Rath’s killing ?
c’mon don’t fool me,
logic cant be that blind.
Look o’ fools !
the Star shines again.
voices you dim’d,
spoke once more.
